Our problem was: How can we interrupt young professionals’ routines to create face to face contact, build lasting connections and relieve stress from the work week? Our strategy to improve sociability among these young professionals was to target them in their workplaces. We devised a business called Project Boost where we get employers to sign onto our concept and facilitate fun activities designed to improve individual wellbeing. The business concept itself was way too large for us to comprehend designing in six weeks, so we used placeholder information for the costs, and the location of our offices, and picked the key initial stages to design. These were a deliverable box, a website, an introductory video, and a promo video. Over the course of the project we continued to reflect on our work and ensure that our point of difference as fun, simple, and wellbeing focused was always clear.
